Cooperative Public Library Members eligible to receive (3) – $1,000 grants each year.
Grants can be submitted for up to $2000 total in:
Professional Development. This includes, but is not limited to conferences, workshops, and meetings.
Collection Development. This includes, but is not limited to any materials purchased for public use.
Technology. This includes, but is not limited to any technology upgrades to a library. i.e. Computers, network upgrades, and so on.
Additional Grant for 2023 – Additional $1000 in any of the above grant areas – a representative from the requesting library must attend at least one cooperative meeting for that grant cycle to qualify for the third $1000 grant.
Grants are administered TEMPORARILY by Andrea Estelle at Otsego District Library: firstname.lastname@example.org. A new grant administrator will be chosen at the August 31, 2023 SMLC Board Meeting.
All grant requests are due August 31 and must be received prior to Sept 1st. of the current fiscal year so that money can be disbursed before the new fiscal year begins October 1st. Please email receipts and grant requests together to Andrea for approval. Please email all of your grant requests in a single email to Andrea.
